Where to watch whatever shaped ball

With the Rugby Autumn Internationals in full swing and the FIFA World Cup on its way, we thought we’d pick out a few places to watch the action.

The hottest seats in town might just be the Argyll Pub & Kitchen in Market Place with their outdoor heated booths, all kitted out with their own screen. Each booth holds a maximum of six people and a minimum spend of £200 per booking.

Plus they have a massive stretch tent covering the garden. Plenty of space but they recommend booking info@theargyll-henley.co.uk.

For the Rugby Internationals surely Dry Leas, home of Henley Rugby Club‘s Henley Hawks is a no brainer for getting full on atmosphere. There are quite a few pubs to choose from but as always get there early to bag the best seats including The Little Angel across the bridge that has brought back screens in their bar area.

Plus you’ll find all the action at:

  • Hofs Bar & Dining – Market Place
  • The Old Bell – Bell Street
  • The Anchor – Friday Street
  • The Three Horseshoes – Reading Road
  • The Saracen’s Head – Greys Road
  • The Bird in Hand – Greys Road
