We all love a bargain and especially at the moment with some of us having fewer pennies in our pocket, no holiday in sight and local pubs, cafes and restaurants looking for our help and support. So here’s something to brighten everyone’s mood, with fifty venues signing up to take part in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, eating out in Henley in August is looking pretty good! Plus there’s no limit to how many times you visit or use the scheme.

The Eat Out to Help Out Government scheme launched by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak earlier this month, aims to encourage diners back through our hospitality venues doors. They have all gone to incredible lengths to ensure eating out is a pleasurable and importantly safe thing to do. The Caterer magazine has reported that almost half of people who have visited pubs, restaurants and bars in the last two weeks have said that the experience felt ‘different’, but 94% said they were happy with the safety steps put in place and an overwhelming 96% were likely to recommend a visit.

The Eat Out to Help Out Scheme allow you to get 50% off your food and non-alcoholic drinks up to a total value of £10 per person if you eat or drink in every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday starting on 3rd August until 31st August, as many times as you like. You don’t need a voucher to use the scheme and you can use it the at the same time as other offers and discounts. There is no minimum spend.

So come on Henley, let’s support local and let the Government treat us to some fabulous food in some of the great places to eat out in Henley.
