Yes, that Christmas tradition we all know and love is returning to theatres up and down the country including the wonderful Kenton Theatre here in Henley-on-Thames.

How we have missed, ‘it’s behind, you and oh, no it isn’t’ and the dry wit of the ever naughty, cheerful and flambouyant panto dames plus audiences to the Henley panto get two for the price of one with Cinderella’s ugly stepsisters, Beatrice and Eugenie played by Josh Norris and Christopher Chandler. Expect plenty of improvisation!

This year will not disappoint with the Bear in the Air Productions of Cinderella who are excited to present this wonderful love story full of magic, wonder, and silly jokes. There is a joyful undercurrent of excitement bubbling away with the young and enthusiastic cast for this years panto, with many of them being first-timers with their first gig out of university.

Cinderella (Anna Amelia) lives under the calloused and gnarly thumbs of her family, until chance encounters with a magical fairy (Jessica Condon) and a handsome prince (Eve Kitchingman) change everything, allowing her to believe in a life outside of her daily grind.

The road to true love is never smooth, and Cinderella’s family will do everything possible to stand in her way. But with belief in her dreams, a pure heart, and a little sprinkling of fairy magic, Cinders will go to the ball!

Opening at The Kenton Theatre, New Street, Henley-on-Thames on Saturday 11th December 2021.

Ticket Prices from £10.00 to £24.00, concessions and family discounts available.
