As we know the hospitality sector has been hit severely during the Coronavirus pandemic. Many pubs and restaurants are struggling with how they are going to manage re-opening whilst adhering to the Governments current safe distancing measures, we will have to wait and see what’s in store and how they will do this.

Côte Brasserie, was one of a few establishments that was due to open in Henley during lockdown along with Crockers of Henley and The Dub both located in Market Place. Crockers have managed to adapt and have been running a ‘lockdown luxury’ take out service along with cocktails and wine and The Dub has just opened it’s doors for diner style takeaway.

The Côte Brasserie site on the corner of Hart Street and Bell Street had an initial opening date of June. A spokesman for Côte has said that at this stage they don’t know when the builders will be back on site and when they do it will take around three months to complete the works. So at best they are looking at September time but until they get the builders back on site, the opening date is rather up in the air.

So it looks like Henley will have to wait until the Autumn for Côte to open it’s doors and join the restaurant line up.

In the meantime they have their Côte at Home delivery service running. You can also order from their butchery and fromagerie as well as their meals which has allowed them to keep supporting their suppliers.
