Henley will welcome one of the country’s best-known political discussion programmes for a live broadcast this September. BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions? will be broadcast live from The Kenton Theatre on Friday 11th September 2026.

The long-running programme brings together a panel of politicians, policymakers, writers and thinkers to debate the biggest issues of the week, responding to questions submitted by members of the audience.

Local residents will have the opportunity to be part of the live audience and submit their own questions for consideration by the programme’s production team.

Lottie Pheasant, Theatre Manager at The Kenton, said, “We are incredibly excited to welcome BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions? to The Kenton. It is a brilliant opportunity for people from Henley and the surrounding area to be part of a live national broadcast and to put their questions directly to some of the leading voices in public life.”

She added, “The Kenton has always been a place where people come together to share stories, ideas and experiences. Hosting a programme of this importance in our historic theatre feels very special, and we are looking forward to showing a national audience what a wonderful venue and community we have here in Henley.”

Tickets are free, but advance booking is essential. Capacity is strictly limited and tickets are expected to be booked quickly.

Doors will open at 6.15pm and close promptly at 7pm. The programme will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 4 from 8pm to 9pm. Question cards will be available for audience members to complete when they arrive. Security checks will take place on entry, and photography and recording will not be permitted during the live broadcast. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Free tickets will be released at 11am on Wednesday 5th August through The Kenton website – BBC Radio 4 – Any Questions?
