What’s on lowdown for Henley Royal Regatta

Are you ready for this year’s regatta? There certainly seems to be a real buzz and atmosphere around town already. For all you need to know about the regatta itself visit Henley Royal Regatta and Remenham Farm for what’s happening over the bridge. But we’re here to tell you what’s going on in our fabulous pubs, restaurants and hotels in our beautiful town of Henley-on-Thames.


It’s a rite of passage for anyone going to Henley Royal Regatta that they have a night to remember (or not) at The Angel on the Bridge. There are party nights every night kicking off with Locals Get Together – Regatta Day One on Tuesday 27th June as a thanks to all the locals who’ve been supporting them over the year to go down to celebrate Henley Royal Regatta with free entry, DJ One Deck spinning the tunes, Adam Isaac performing, and a BBQ. 5.00-11.30pm.

Mini festival vibes will be hitting the courtyard of The Relais during regatta week with pop up food and Double Dutch camper van serving cocktails, Lovibonds beerPommery Champagne and Henley Distillery Gin. The front of the hotel will have grab & go draught beer and summer spritz cocktails under the watchful eye of the infamous red lion sitting atop the porch. The Clipper Restaurant will have their regular menu.

Now hear this…The Old Bell in Bell Street is dropping it’s prices for regatta…that’s right! They are lowering prices for everyone £5 pint, £5 wine and £8 for cocktails. The kitchen will be open late every evening and live music Thursday – Sunday. Doors open daily at 4pm.

The Bistro at the Boathouse are running their normal menu at their riverside spot with their popular outside deck area where you can grab breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Live music (Thursday – Sunday) and great food are the order of the day at The Three Tuns in Market Place.

Expect to have a great time at The Little Angel who are pulling no punches by transforming their car park with a full on pop-up after party regatta event plus ‘Bubbles & Baps’ from 8am. Inside will be for VIPs and reservations only and anyone with an LA pass (locals & regulars).

The Bull on Bell Street have a special regatta menu running throughout the week and will have a live DJ banging out the tunes to party Thursday evening through to Saturday until the early hours. They are also now serving Hundred Hills award winning sparkling wine from the Stonor Valley. A perfect regatta tipple.

Fancy some cocktails to cool you down? During regatta week at Hofs Bar & Dining ALL COCKTAILS are £6.00 from noon until 6pm every day, plus they’ll be serving up their South African, German and Swiss influenced menu.

Cote Henley are opening from 8am-11pm, live music on Friday & Saturday (12pm close) and a regatta menu of 4 courses and glass of Cremant for £38.95.
