The Best of British Theatre at the Regal Picturehouse

An outstanding and gripping solo performance by the tour de force that is Jodie Comer in her West End debut in the Empire Street Production of Prima Facie filmed at the Harold Pinter Theatre, filled all three screens at the Regal Picturehouse last night.

Tessa is a thoroughbred. A young, brilliant barrister. She has worked her way up from working class origins to be at the top of her game; prosecuting; cross examining and winning. An unexpected event forces her to confront the lines where the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof and morals diverge.

The Telegraph – 4/5
“[Comer’s] performance, running a full-pelt 100 minutes, propels her into the front rank of stage stars.” – Read the full review

Daily Mail – 4/5
