Knock knock, it’s gin o’clock in Henley

Knock knock, it’s gin o’clock in Henley, with Henley Gin and Pavilion Foods grabbing golds at The Global Spirit Masters, Global Gin Masters 2022 competition.

Pavilion Fine Foods, Delicatessen and Cookery School which opened in Market Place, Henley last year, has just bagged two golden gongs for their Pavilion Signature Gin and Pavilion Special Edition Blackberry & Apple Gin.

“We started the journey of creating these gins almost a year ago, way before Pavilion had opened its doors. Being so impressed after meeting Jacob and the lovely team at The Henley Distillery, we just knew we had to work together and believed we could create something really quite special. Collaborating with local artisans is what we are all about and its lovely to get this recognition in the Global Gin Masters 2022. A huge thank you to all our friends who helped with the countless rounds of panelling – it was certainly worth it!”, Pavilion Foods.

For all the gin lovers out there Pavilion will soon be selling other gin infused products such as Orange & Lime Marmalade with Pavilion Signature Gin, Blackberry & Apple Preserve with Pavilion Special Edition Gin and Local Venison & Pork Salami with Pavilion Signature Gin Cure from Bray Cured.

And as for The Henley Distillery, they just keep on raking up the awards and quite rightly so as their gin is outstanding. Out of their five entries in the Global Gin Masters competition, they were awarded four gold medals and a Master Award for their Oriental Spiced Gin.

This means that Jacob Wilson and The Henley Distillery team have an impressive haul of 24 International Awards in their first 12 months of operation. Huge congratulations.
