Henley’s First Noodle bar coming soon

We have the most excellent news! Love ramen, crave noodles? Henley’s first noodle bar Pig & Eel is coming to Drifters Coffee House in Duke Street opening on Saturday 27th August.

Every Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 5.30-10.00pm they are going to be serving delicious bowls of ramen.

Not sure what ramen is? Ramen is a type of Japanese noodle that comes to your table in a broth, with a multitude of different toppings! It can be both super simplistic or wildly adventurous, say Pig & Eel.

About themselves they say “Simply put, we’re about quality over quantity. Where we can we use local produce for all of our bowls. From this produce we make all the components of a good bowl of ramen from scratch! Noodles ✅ Broth ✅ Toppings ✅ And that’s why we only make a certain amount of bowls a night (roughly 40). This way makes sure that everyone who comes to eat with us, leaves feeling like they’ve had something special that was made FOR THEM. It might seem crazy to put a limitation on how much business we can do but, hey, at least for the time being it’s the best way to assure quality (good ramen takes a lot of time and work)!”

Are you salivating yet? We are!
