Henley’s Eat Food Festival has announced that it is planning a two week series of ‘bite sized’ events throughout the town from Sat 12th – Sat 26th June

Eat Food Festival’s inaugural event was June 2019 and it was due to take place again in June 2020. Due to the coronavirus pandemic they had to re-adjust their plans and postponed it to August but it wasn’t to be. So they are now planning for this year.

They have said, “the festival will be predominantly bite sized small events during the fortnight as we are sure that we will still be having to ensure safe covid procedures and distancing but that hopefully won’t stop us enjoying all the fabulous food & drink producers, traders, restaurants, cocktail makers & shakers, chefs, bakers and brewers and foodie experiences.”

The festival normally hosts an opening event in Henley Market Place at the beginning of the two week food extravaganza and a celebratory finale event in Mill Meadows, though the venues are booked in they are not sure whether Goverment guidance will allow this type of event in June but are hoping to do so.
