Drifters Coffee Shop is a bit of a vegan’s heaven. They offer canned drinks and smoothies as well as milk alternatives being Oat, soya & coconut which can be steamed to either mix with coffee or their chocolates. Their coffee is locally roasted in small batches from Coopers in Marlow.

The vegan cakes they offer are chocolate and banana which is baked by Lindsay from The Boston Mills Bakery.  We also offer a carrot, avocado and pistachio cake. Staying on the sweet side, they also offer a stack of American Style Pancakes with Maple syrup. The vegan toppings available to add to these are Banana and Blueberries (they sometimes offer specials such as Berry Compote & Sorbet).

Drifters have also just teamed up with ‘Gelato Henley‘ where you’ll be able to buy scoops of their sorbets from the downstairs in house. Other vegan dishes they offer are sausage rolls, chickpea and lentil Dahl, katsu soup, pasta salad pots, bagels, avocado on toast and brioche buns. YUM! Coppa Club is a favourite haunt for many in Henley and here’s what they have for anyone after vegan options. If you fancy a ‘little nibble’ you have a choice of Rose harissa-spiced nuts, Large, green Italian olive or Garlic bread. To start Grilled Artichokes – a toasted slice of fresh sourdough topped with punchy artichoke puree, artichoke pieces, olives, pine nuts and olive oil; To follow Penne Promodoro – the classic with a sauce made with super sweet San Manzano tomatoes and fresh basil with a drizzle of olive oil or The Coppa Vegan Burger. The burger patty is provided by Moving Mountains and has a fantastic meaty flavour designed to simulate a classic beef patty, including a slightly pink centre cunningly created with beetroot juice with a much higer quality bun than before topped with toasted seeds. All served up with skinny fries and Coppa’s own burger sauce. To finnish off they have Jude’s Sorbet, cold, cleansing and packed full of flavour. A variety of flavours are available.

The Dub

New kids on the block The Dub, diner/pub in Market Place have, according to Millie from Drifters Coffee House, the best ever vegan hot dog. If Millie thinks it’s great, then that’s good enough for us. They also have a BBQ Jackfruit Burger on the menu and their buns are all gluten free. Sounds like it’s worth checking out for some ‘dirty’ vegan food.
