A weekly round-up of what’s on and must sees at Henley’s fabulous three screen cinema, The Regal Picturehouse in Borama Way.


Check out all the great things heading your way this week including a tense psychological drama, a poignant tale of overcoming grief, plus a trio of uplifting musical concerts:

Jude Law stars in Picturehouse Entertainment’s THE NEST (15), as a trade who relocates his family from America to Surrey in the hopes of reviving his fortunes. Carrie Coon (Gone Girl, Avengers: Infinity War) plays his increasingly frustrated wife as the whole family struggles to come to adjust to their new life and tensions boil over. THE NEST is also our parent and baby showing on Friday morning.

In THE LAST BUS (12A), five-time BAFTA nominee Timothy Spall stars a widower making a poignant journey from John o’ Groats to Land’s End – by bus – to honour his late wife. THE LAST BUS is a sweet, heartwarming tale filled with colourful characters

Perennial favourite Andre Rieu is back to lift the spirits once more with another eclectic concert. ANDRE RIEU: TOGETHER AGAIN finds Andre picking his favourite moments from around the world, including performances in São Paulo, Mexico City, Amsterdam, Melbourne and Istanbul – and features footage previously unseen in cinemas!

Let world-renowned photographer Bert Stern take you on a tour of the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival in Rhode Island. JAZZ ON A SUMMER’S DAY (U) features intimate performances by an all-star line-up of musical legends including Louis Armstrong, Thelonius Monk, Gerry Mulligan, Anita O’Day, Chuck Berry, Dinah Washington and Mahalia Jackson

NT Live is also back with its first encore in NT LIVE: FOLLIES. Stephen Sondheim’s legendary musical, captured live from the National Theatre in London, returns to cinemas. Tracie Bennett, Janie Dee and Imelda Staunton play the magnificent Follies in this dazzling new production.
