The Mixing Jug bringing the juice to the yard

Fun, funky and fresh, festival juice bar veteran traders The Mixing Jug are bringing a new vibe to Gardiner Place, opening in time to soak up the summer feels in Henley-on-Thames.

Smoothies, juices, coffee and a super tasty healthy nutritious driven menu is what to expect from the newest foodie arrivals in town. Previously their vegan friendly and healthy menu has wowed crowds at events like Camp Bestival, Latitide and Glastonbury to name but a few. They are back at Glastonbury and Rewind South this year so we think they know what they’re doing.

Speaking to founder Greg Gabriel he said he can’t wait to open in Henley with their new venue which he describes as planning to have an industrial, clean and cosy feel and then into the evening creating a grown up, casual space. He said that he sees it as a real oasis in the town away from the High Street with outdoor seating, very much connecting the inside with the outside.

Greg continues, ‘we aim to create an uplifting, yet calming space in the community whilst also being a route to market for local suppliers. Our menu is currently in development, we’re working with some experienced experts on this to create something unique and fitting with our brand values – Simple, Good for the Planet, Service, Precision, Healthy Body & Mind. It will consist of fresh, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, speciality coffee, a light, fast, fresh and nutritious menu along with a bar and cocktail menu.’
