THE KENTON THEATRE is proud to be part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival, in partnership with Shakespeare Schools Foundation for an exhilarating evening, featuring a series of unique abridged Shakespeare productions by local schools.

See Shakespeare’s timeless stories brought to life like you’ve never experienced before and support young people from your local community as they take to the stage.

“Every child in every school ought to have the chance to experience this magical process.” Philip Pullman, Author and Patron of Shakespeare Schools Foundation.

Shakespeare Schools Foundation is a charity that transforms lives through the unique power of Shakespeare. Their annual Festival provides a platform for up to 30,000 young people to express themselves and grow in confidence as they take to a professional stage.

In this, the 19th year of the Festival, we celebrate a season of ‘Infinite Variety’ as young people of all ages and backgrounds discover the possibilities presented by Shakespeare in their school rehearsal room, culminating in a thrilling night of theatre.

Details of the schools performing at The KentonTheatre can be found on the Shakespeare Schools Foundation website
