Secret Raves Announces Regatta Riverbank Series

Henley Royal Regatta remains one of the town’s defining summer moments — a week when the river comes alive with world‑class rowing, vibrant crowds and a uniquely Henley sense of occasion. Alongside the racing, the atmosphere on the riverbank has grown.
Led by a Henley based team, whose Henley Town Hall nights have built a real following, Secret Raves’ Regatta Week series at Old Blades has been created with exactly these events in mind. Designed for a 90s and 00s generation who want to enjoy the rowing by day and festival‑quality entertainment by night, the programme brings together a line‑up full of nostalgia in a space that’s relaxed, friendly and buzzing with good energy. With pricing that starts from free, it offers an accessible way for residents and visitors to enjoy the best of the river, and Secret Raves hope it will tempt some of the audience back to the Regatta stretch, where the music, atmosphere and riverside setting speak for themselves. The series introduces a week of themed evening entertainment supported by daytime hospitality from 11am.
The programme opens on Tuesday with an Anthems Takeover, beginning with a live performance from local musician Hugo before headliners 𝐄𝐌𝐅 and Ultimate Coldplay bring their well‑established tribute show to the Thames. DJ Jamie Taylor will close the evening with a set of indie favourites. Wednesday’s focus turns to trance, with Radio 1’s Dave Pearce returning to Henley following his previous sell‑out appearance, joined by Rob Tissera for a night aimed at long‑standing fans of the genre.

Thursday presents pure 90s on the riverbank with a Madchester versus Britpop theme, led by Bez of Happy Mondays fame, followed by Supernova, known for their recent support of Oasis Live ’25 at BOXPARK Wembley. On Friday, the attention shifts to UK Garage, with a substantial line‑up including So Solid Crew, Sweet Female Attitude, Oxide & Neutrino, Femme Fatale bringing some of the most recognisable names associated with the genre’s early‑2000s prominence. and MC DT bringing the ‘’We’re Loving It, Loving It, Loving It’’ energy on the mic.

Saturday introduces Cream on the Thames, offering a rare opportunity to experience the iconic dance brand in an intimate riverside setting. Performances from Soniqué, Danny Rampling, Allister Whitehead and Cream resident Counterpart will anchor the evening. The series concludes on Sunday with a Balearic Brunch, combining artisan food with Ibiza‑inspired sets from Alex P and Slipmatt, running from midday into the early evening.
Tickets are on sale now and are available at Secret Raves at the 2026 Henley Royal Regatta – Old Blades, Henley Riverside
