Piccolino Henley to open in June after £2 million renovation

Piccolino has announced that in June it will be opening with a stunning restaurant following a £2 million investment and renovation of the Grade II listed building in Market Place to bring it’s authentic Italian dining to the local community.

Promising to serve up platefuls of charming Italian spirit, Piccolino group owners Individual Restaurants say each Piccolino is unique to its community and the Henley restaurant, will boast a river walk entrance, two spectacular bar areas, a winterised courtyard and a unique private dining room.

Located in the centre of Henley, the new restaurant will have 140 covers inside the main restaurant, as well as a 38 seat patio in the heart of the town.

When they launch in Henley this summer, they say that guests will enjoy immersive table-side culinary experience, the very best chic interiors and mouth-watering dishes such as the Ravioli Di Melanzane, plus impeccable steak cuts, featuring the best authentic ingredients, such as Fassona Piedmontese beef from the north west region of Italy.

Henley will be Piccolino’s 20th restaurant, following the successful new opening last year in Wilmslow, Cheshire. “Classic, timeless and elegant, the Piccolino ethos is all about community, and delighting guests from the moment they step in the door”.

CEO of Individual Restaurants, Andrew Garton, comments “We are incredibly excited about growing our collection of Italian restaurants in the home counties. It has been our ambition for Piccolino to be a much-loved restaurant at the heart of these communities for years so it is fantastic to see these ambitions being realised in 2024….we cannot wait to join the community in Henley-on-Thames”

The Marlow Bar & Grill which is also owned by Individual Restaurants, will be undergoing a transformation and £500K renovation as it too reopens its doors in July as a Piccolino.
