Pavilion Foods Jamming for the Jubilee

Calling all jam makers! Do your home-made jams go down a storm with your friends and family or maybe you’ve always fancied having a go? Well here’s something just for you.

To celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s 70 years of service, Pavilion Fine Foods have announced their Jubilee jam making competition!

Pavilion are searching for the 2022 King or Queen of jam making. Whether jam making has been a lifelong passion or it became a lockdown hobby, you could be in with the chance of turning your kitchen creation into a limited-edition Pavilion fruit conserve. Perfect to slather all over a scone with lashings of clotted cream, or as a sumptuous filling to a Victoria sponge, they want to find the perfect jam for a Jubilee party.

The winning jam will be produced by the amazing team at Henley based McNeills Fine Foods, jam makers for none other than double Royal Warrant Fortnum & Mason and your winning product will adorn Pavilion’s shelves as the summer’s ‘must-have’ for any Platinum Jubilee party.

The conserves will be judged by an all-star panel of industry experts including Pavilion founder, Micah Judah, Pavilion Head Chef Tania Steytler, as well as the team from McNeill’s Fine Foods. A very special head judge will be announced at a later date.

The jam-obsessed judges will be looking for the best of the best, and adjudicating the visual appeal, aroma, texture, and flavour.

To enter, pop in-store or email hello@pavilionfoods.co.uk to fill out the form and send in two samples of your specialty jam! Final entries need to be submitted between 25th April to 7th May. The winner will be announced on Saturday 14th May.
