John Otway & Wild Willy Barrett Live at The Crooked Billet
On Wednesday 7th September 2022, a rare and not to be missed opportunity to see this entertaining, hilarious and lively duo of John Otway & Wild Willy Barrett in the intimate setting of the Crooked Billet marquee.
Willy, best known for his partnership with John Otway is a highly respected musician whose styles include folk, blues, gypsy jazz, reggae, bluegrass & punk.
It is the gentler side of Wild that emerges with French Connection. He recorded Rasta Communication with Sly & Robbie, toured with U2, Police, Madness & many more. Guitarist for George Hamilton IV, turned down the offer of Brian Jones’ replacement in the Rolling Stones.
He also recorded ‘The Contemporary Folk Guitar’ album with Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Gordon Giltrap & Ralph McTell and recent main stage performances include Cropredy & Cambridge Folk Festival.
Audience members need to have pre show dinner and remain seated during the performance. Table service food and drinks throughout the evening. The music cover charge is £25, and then pay for whatever you eat and drink during the evening. Full menu available.
