She continues, ‘For as long as I can remember I’ve always been drawn towards photography, it was my favourite subject in school and I continued my studies into A-level and then onto a degree in Photography in my early twenties. I then went on to become a wedding photographer, which I’m very much still passionate about, I photograph between 20 and 30 weddings a year with a fine art style and documentary approach.

Opening my studio has been a dream of mine and I’m extremely passionate about portraiture. I grew up watching videos of myself and my family as a child and browsing through dusty photo albums still evokes a warming nostalgia that I love.

There’s no denying that we are living in the digital age, but keeping these traditions alive I believe to be the best investment we can make, if not for ourselves then for our children. The birth of my daughter Rose ignited my passion further and I’m inspired by the connection within families, their personalities and the natural moments. ‘
