Henley Festival of Sunflowers – GROW WITH US
🌻 Henley‑on‑Thames is set to burst into colour this summer as the very first Festival of Sunflowers blooms across the town from 1st–15th August 2026. Part of Henley Town Council’s RHS Britain in Bloom entry, the festival brings together schools, families, businesses, community groups and hospitality venues in a joyful celebration of creativity, sustainability and civic pride. Experience Henley is delighted to be supporting this vibrant community project.
Residents are invited to purchase dwarf sunflower seeds from participating Henley outlets, grow them at home, and then bring their pots to Henley Market Place on Saturday 8th August to help create a spectacular ‘Sea of Sunflowers’.
Over 400 school children are already involved with proceeds from seed sales supporting The Chiltern Centre. Students from The Henley College are also contributing their talents by creating a striking giant bee installation for Market Place, adding an extra burst of creativity to the celebrations.
