Can it really be a year since this cute little shop tucked away on Bell Street first opened it’s doors? The Henley Larder is now a firmly established go to foodie destination when in town. We challenge anyone to go into the shop to ‘browse’ without leaving with something scrumptious in their bag.

When ever Experience Henley pops in to see owner Zoë Ferreira, who’s happy, beaming face greets you everytime you walk through the door, you can’t help but get excited by her enthusiasm for every product she has on the groaning shelves in this little shop of flavours. Every time we go in there is something new that has been added to either the cold counter, artisan breads, cakes & treats, sauces or pickles, charcuterie or cured fish, cheeses…you name it Zoe will have the perfect ingredient or product for what you’re after and to top it all off she knows all about everything she stocks becuase she has sourced it all herself. We’re not sure she could get any more delicious things in the shop, but Zoë assures up that there is always room for another box, bottle or packet of ambrosial delight.

So what does a charming little food emporium do for it’s first birthday, it puts on a series of events. Zoë says, “The Henley Larder’s one year anniversary, I can’t believe how quickly it’s come around. It’s been a year of ups and downs for us all and throughout it all I have been so overwhelmed with peoples reaction to the shop and support of what we do. I’m truly grateful and excited for all that’s yet to come To celebrate I wanted to hold a series of events to celebrate some of the people and products that have made the shop  what it is this year. Some spooky, some stylish, some scrumptious and all lots of fun!
