Experience Henley Cheese Club: Michaelmas Feast of Cheese

Experience Henley Cheese Club returns with it’s next event

-Michaelmas Feast of Cheese-

On Tuesday 28th September at The Boat Shed, The Three Tuns Henley, there will be a social evening of feasting from a groaning banquet table of cheeses, pickles, ferments & bread for curd nerds, cheese fiends & aficionados.

  • SELECTION OF 20 OUTSTANDING BRITISH & EUROPEAN CHEESES
  • LOCAL BREADS
  • PICKLES, HONEYS & FERMENTS
  • FREE DRINK ON ARRIVAL
  • BAR – BEER, WINE & SPIRITS
  • TASTING NOTES

Michaelmas or the Feast of Michael and All Angels is celebrated on 29th September every year (OK we’re one day early!) and as it falls near the equinox, the day is associated with the beginning of autumn and the shortening of days.

So we thought what better way to celebrate with an EXPERIENCE HENLEY CHEESE CLUB FEAST OF CHEESE social.

An evening with friends and fellow turophiles (a connoisseur of cheese or cheese fancier) of grazing on a mammoth table laden with twenty cheeses from Britain and Europe. A smorgasbord of hard cheeses, cheddars, rind washed, blue cheese, goats cheese and more, partnered with an array of olives, pickles, ferments, local breads and other goodies.

If you LOVE CHEESE, this is not an event to be missed.
