New Cafe Opens in The Three Tuns Courtyard

Lucy’s Courtyard Café has opened in the courtyard of The Three Tuns pub in Market Place and it’s already bringing a burst of sunshine to the heart of Henley.

Taking over what was formerly The Boatshed, Lucy, originally from Portugal and now very much part of the Henley community, has worked in several cafés around town and has finally taken the leap to open her own. The result is a bright, welcoming spot with a relaxed, feel‑good atmosphere..

The cafe is going to be a big hit with the early birds opening from 7.30am-4pm, serving an All Day Menu of breakfast, brunch and lunch favourites.

The menu spans everything from a traditional full English, with sausage, bacon and black pudding from Gabriel Machin, to all things eggs benedict, American Breakfast of 2 fried eggs and Minute Steak, classic sausage or bacon baps and a Spanish‑style Pan Con Tomate.

No brunch menu would be complete without Smashed Avocado on Toast, and Lucy offers a myriad of optional extras including eggs, chorizo, smoke salmon and feta. For something more substantial there are jacket potatoes, a Butcher’s Burger and a selection of fresh salads. You’ll also find fresh, pastries, cakes, sandwiches and paninis to choose from daily.

To drink, there is a generous choice of smoothies & milkshakes, hot drinks, iced drinks, beer, wine and sprite’s for those warm summer afternoons.

Inside the cafe bursts with sunshine yellow evoking a warm welcome, with repurposed blades on the beams and photographs of iconic film scenes adorning the walls. The courtyard seating is shared with The Three Tuns customers, so it’s one big happy family.

We’re wishing Lucy all the best with her lovely new cafe.
