We all love burger, but how do you like yours? Meaty, veggie, dirty, cheesy, so many options. Where is your favourite place to grab a burger?
Here’s a quick round-up of some of the great burgers in town.
Buddy’s – If you’re after a proper down and dirty burger then head to Buddy’s by the station who have picked up an avid following since opening last year with their perfect patties – Buddy’s Henley-on-Thames
Bistro at the Boathouse – Not only do they an enviable position right on the river they also have their Banging Burger Thursdays where you can get any burger and a drink for twenty quid! And guess what day it is today…it’s a Thursday AND National Burger Day. It’s written in the stars – bistroattheboathouse
The Little Angel – If they have their barbie cranked up you’d be hard pushed to not want to dive into their double patty cheese smash burger. It’s all the things you want to satisfy a burger craving. If you’re after something a little more sophisticated grab a burger off their main menu which has a mouth watering addition of a slathering of spiced brisket – Food & Drinks – The Little Angel
The Bull on Bell Street – When The Bull re-opened with it’s snazzy, airy courtyard it came accompanied by a new menu and on it their wagyu beef & pancetta burger with horseradish mayo. Why not go the full monty and add bacon, cheese & truffled mushroom? – bullonbell.co.uk
Coppa – Probably not known for it, but Coppa sling out a rather good burger, always a good choice. Slightly pink, juicy, brilliantly seasoned, chuck on some cheese and bacon with a portion of delicious salty fries, perfect pre-cinema or theatre feasting – Coppa Club
The Argyll Pub & Kitchen – It has been noted that if you’re a tad hungry, this is the pace to go. With options such as the Big Argyll crammed full of beef patty and pulled pork or the Mac Daddy Burger with beef, cheese, burger sauce, bacon, mac & cheese croquette, onion jam and pickle, you made need to be transported home by wheel barrow! And they even dedicate Mondays to them – The Argyll
Côte – Yeah, they’re a French Bistro but their burger ain’t half bad with a Gallic nuance of topping it with delicious Reblochon cheese and truffle mayo and of course ubiquitous French frites on the side – Côte Brasserie
Whether you’re a purest for a burger with just beef patties, cheese, sauce and pickles or you like a sky scraper of a feast, meaty, veggie or vegan there’s a burger out there for everyone and one with your name on it. But which is you’re favourite?
