It’s 2022 and we’re ready to party, FESTIVALS ARE BACK.

Though famous for it’s summer festivals Henley has events all year round and this year we reckon we’re going to be ready for them ALL. Take a deep breath people as there are at least 20 festivals and annual events returning this year plus LOADS of other live music, sporting and food events throughout the calendar.

As well as the world renowned Henley Royal Regatta, Henley Festival, which is celebrating it’s 40th year, plus Henley Literary Festival, one of the UK’s biggest book events, there is so much going on.

Stonor Park has a great line up this year with Giffords Circus, Texas and the Stonor Park Proms being particular highlights.

The Henley Decor Fair (run by Gary Wallis of TV show The Restoration Workshop) for all your architectural salvage and antique needs with food and live music added to the mix returns to the lawns at Greenlands in May, and if you need rejunvenating Greenlands is also the venue for the World Yoga Festival in July. Over the road in June, at The Henley Showground, is The Little Welly Obstacle Course & Festival, everything that you need for a brilliant day with the kids.

V Fest, Henley’s first vegan festival is taking place at Temple Island Meadows from 3rd-5th June describing themselves as “A huge new vegan camping event, featuring outdoor activities, live shows, headline acts, celebrity chefs, global speakers, amazing stalls, international food caterers and more”.

There’s a fortnight of foodie events in venues all around Henley for Eat Food Festival in June and just a hop, skip and a jump down the road in May is Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park.

If you’re feeling energetic, why not sign up and get on your bike for The Chiltern Valley Winery and Brewery Sportive on 8th May where you get to cycle through stunning villages in the Chiltern Valley.

We also have Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations over a four day Bank Holiday weekend from 2nd-5th June.

And this is without all the brilliant live music at the many wonderful Henley pubs around town and of course the many excellent shows at Henley’s beloved Kenton Theatre.

Henley has got your back with an outstanding twelve months of events lined up. There’s just too much to list here. Whatever floats your boat, book yourselves in, find somewhere to stay in one of Henley’s fabulous hotels, eat in great restaurants and pubs and just well…, enjoy the uniqueness of Henley. There’s nowhere better to be.
