Drag Yourself Out to the Mayor’s Charity Do
This year The Mayor of Henley‘s fund raising charity do, which is raising money for the Royal British Legion and Regatta for the Disabled, is a bit different and we love it. We love it so much that Experience Henley is supporting the event as a media sponsor. So get your karaoke singing hats on and if you like a tad more salt than you’d find on the rim of a marguerita then this is a night not to be missed.
The Mayor’s Charity Drag Karaoke Night on Friday 3rd December. A night of music, singing, Champagne, cocktails, shots, a dash of food, and plenty of FUN with Drag Queen JUST MAY.
Just May, is the UK’s Premier Geri Halliwell impersonator.
A rising star of the East London queer performance scene, Just May uses popular culture, low-brow looks and a wickedly sharp sense of humour to take audiences on a trash-infused pop journey with each performance. Just May is largely inspired by the Spice Girls and in particular their number one idol, Geri Halliwell.
There will be:
- bar
- food
- music
- karaoke
- and lots more to be announced soon.
Tables of 8 & 10 are available or if it’s just your lycra clad self or with a couple of mates get buying your tickets. It will be a hoot and a half.
