It’s been a long old four weeks, but we’re finally here at the end of Lockdown2 and entering the era of Tier 2. So what does that mean for our pubs and restaurants who have been taking a real hammering during the coronavirus pandemic.

Well they can open their doors again and welcome us with open arms, which I am sure many people will be grateful for. All COVID-19 procedures will be in place and as usual they have all worked their socks off to be able to accomodate what is being asked of them.

So, they have amended menus, opening hours and indoor and outdoor spaces. Marquees have popped up in car parks and any spare outside space, with heaters and comfy seating. Some of them as cosy as if you were indoors.

We want to doff our caps to all these hardworking guys and gals in hospitality. Let’s give them some love.
