Henley Coronation Celebrations
Henley Town Council have announced that there will be a Coronation Celebration in Market Place on Saturday 6th May.
There will be a live TV screen in front of the Town Hall for the people of Henley to gather together to watch the live streaming of the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort.
There will be a road closure in place around Market Place with stilt walkers along with other entertainment and live music. All timings to be confirmed.
A Coronation flotilla on the river is also planned for either Saturday 6th or Sunday 7th May.
People are encouraged to have street parties on Sunday 7th May with the The Big Lunch. Applications for street parties will need to be in before 31st March. Here’s a helpful link Your guide to organising a street party.
