Burns Night is fast approaching, and the annual hunt for the perfect haggis, whisky and Scottish revelry is officially on. If you’re ready for haggis, neeps and tatties with a cheeky dram (or two), here’s where to celebrate locally.
This Sunday 25th January The Crooked Billet s going all‑out on Sunday 25 January, with a vibrant Scottish‑inspired à la carte menu showcasing the very best of Scotland’s larder — Aberdeen beef, Orkney halibut, Shetland langoustines, Islay scallops, smoked fish favourites and even Keiller’s Dundee marmalade. Expect dishes such as haggis on sourdough with a fried duck egg and HP jus, alongside the classic haggis, neeps and tatties.
The celebration includes the full ceremonial welcome: military bagpipes to escort the haggis for the Robbie Burns address, followed by live music from Celtic band Kippers & Kilts, performing lively jigs and reels.
