Best lockdown burger in Henley? Well that’s not for us to decide but for you. We all love burger, but how do you like yours? Meaty, veggie, dirty, cheesy, so many options. So we thought that we’d help you to decide where the best lockdown burgers are by picking a few out for you to try.
Bottle & Glass Burger Barn
Behind the Bottle & Glass pub at Binfield Heath lies the newly converted dutch barn with fire pits and cooking over a wood fired grill, the Bottle & Glass Burger Barn.
Using locally sourced wood and English Farm Longhorn Beef for their burgers.
They have an enticing burger menu of the Barn Burger (Longhorn Beef), Bambi Burger (Ipsden Fallow Deer), English Farm Burger (Dry Aged Longhorn Beef) with n’duja, Veggie & Vegan burgers with Oxfordshire Cheddar, chimichurri, confit garlic mayo, tomato ketchup, pickled red onion & lettuce. Oh and there’s a burger for the kiddies too. Plus there’s a selection of sides and desserts.

The Field Kitchen
The Field Kitchen at Nettlebed has a full on Lockdown Field Gourmet Burger Menu to keep you going throughout lockdown #2 with seven fantastic burgers to choose from.
If you fancy a wee treat for breakfast look no further than their Morning Glory with bacon, sausage, egg, lettuce, tomato, red onion, tomato relish & mayo! We think that may set you up for the day, or a good long walk.
You are then spoilt for choice with The Field Burger (prime beef patty, cheese, relish), Chicken Licken (chicken, bacon avocado), Baa Burger (lamb, sweet potato, mint jelly), Porky Pig (pulled pork, BBQ sauce, smoked cheddar, pickled beetroot – pictured) or That Darne Vegetarian (Portobello mushroom, red pepper, houmous, grilled feta). Plus a selection of toppings & sides.

The Greyhound
Greyhound2Go is AWT’s Lockdown#2 takeaway service located in a bespoke Shepherd’s Hut in the forecourt of the pub. The Greyhound2Go menu is a combination of Greyhound favourites and a sprinkling of some new additions too, including some cracking burgers to choose from under their ‘Baps ‘n’ Buns’ section on the menu.
So what have we got? The Straight Up (Angus beef, lettuce, tomato, red onion , cucumber pickle), plus you can add cheese, The Chook (Crisp Korean fried chicken, kimchi, pickled onion & carrot, Gochujang mayo) Ultimate…everything but the kitchen sink.
