The series was primarily filmed in the village, with St Mary the Virgin Church doubling as Dibley’s St Barnabus and Church Cottage predominantly featuring, along with the adjoining cottage being the fictional home of Geraldine Granger, The Vicar of Dibley, played by Dawn French.
