The Lockdown Lodge lowdown
It’s nearly here and it looks like summer may be arriving just in time. The Lockdown Lodge which is now one of Henley’s eagerly anticipated events in the summer calendar, with its awesome sunset views and delicious food & drink opens the deck this Friday 19th July and runs until 11th August.
The Lockdown Lodge by Hambleden Lock is a Pop-Up café, bar and casual eatery by day with a terrace that transforms into a destination ticketed supper club by night.
As well as the ace food & drink on offer, the lodge is running a series of events this year, so that you can enjoy spending time on the banks of the river even more, kicking off with their opening night on Friday to allow everyone to reacquaint themselves with their wonderful hospitality. There is also going to be live music and comedy nights, open mic evenings and even a pub quiz. The first evening of entertainment is this weekend with Esta B & The Stings playing on Sunday 21st July at 6.30pm.
Open 8am for coffee – late everyday, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re looking to celebrate something special with a table at their exclusive supper club, a more relaxed vibe enjoying the Street Food, or grabbing a coffee for your riverside walk. Street food is from 12pm to 9pm no booking required.
The lodge is running three new menus – Street Food Menu, Tasting Menu and Sunday Brunch menu. Check out the menus here
Getting to The Lockdown Lodge
Make travelling to and from The Lockdown Lodge easy by purchasing one of their River Taxi tickets, exclusively available on Friday and Saturday nights! Hobbs of Henley will be running a river taxi between Hobbs of Henley and the Lockdown Lodge. You will be picked up from Henley and enjoy a gentle cruise down the famous Regatta course before being safely returned to the same spot at the end of the evening. Alternatively, the Lodge is a 10 min walk from Mill End Car Park or 45 min walk from Henley Bridge.
