The Little Angel Grows New Wings
Brakspear’s The Little Angel pub just across Henley Bridge next to Henley Cricket Club, is growing new wings and is aiming to be opening the doors and flying high at the beginning of November with a new team at the helm.
Speaking exclusively to new manager Matt Dockray, Experience Henley can reveal that the much loved The Little Angel will be falling back into the bosom of the community ‘where it belongs, doing it justice serving as a proper pub, with an elevated dining experience’.
It is important to Matt for locals to be able to enjoy a pint at the bar, watch a game of rugby or step in from a long walk to a top notch Sunday roast.
A brigade of chefs, some of whom are coming from a Michelin Starred kitchen not far away, will be creating high end, ‘proper’ pub food, with the same pots and pans but without the price tag, offering a relaxed and accessible space.
