Sip & Sketch at Coppa Club with local artist
This Monday, 31st January, local artist Kirsten Jones is hosting an evening of letting your creative juices flow with paintbrush in hand with a ‘Sip & Sketch’ evening at Coppa Club, Bell Street, Henley.
Sip & Sketch is the ultimate mindful experience, connecting you with your inner artist and absorbing you in such a way that you will lose all track of time! Take a friend or go on your own!
Kirsten Jones is known for painting natural form, quirky objects with a history. Using vintage collage, colourful brushstrokes, sketched lines and expressive mark-making, Kirsten captures the essence of a place and a moment in time. Each of her paintings is full of delightful details that together tell a subtle story.
During this Sip & Sketch session, Coppa will be working with Kirsten alongside her latest ‘Love-heart’ piece titled ‘Love Cocktails’, which explores colourful cocktails through history and the elegant styles and delicious ingredients of many classic favourites.
Over the two-hour creative class, Kirsten will demonstrate the process, using collage, inks and Chinese brushes and will guide you through the creation of your very own cocktail inspired artwork.
This fun, creative session offers an opportunity to hear about her themes and artistic style, learn some tricks of your own and enjoy a relaxing Trip CBD cocktail from the bar. Absolutely no creative experience necessary, just bring some enthusiasm and an old shirt!
