Second top tip is to indulge in a cheeky snifter or two at Henley’s aperitivo hours. Sounds more sophisticated than happy hour and we’re liking it. With punchy drink prices everywhere, these deals mean you can still indulge without damaging your wallet. So where can you grab these early evening vibes?

Hotel du Vin is the longest of the happy hours in Henley, Monday to Friday 3-7pm offering Champagne cocktails, two bottles of Vedett or 125ml of house Champagne for £8. Also, if you buy two large glasses of wine by the glass you’ll receive the rest of the bottle complimentary and why not jazz things up a bit by adding some Oysters Rockefeller for £3 each.

Picante at Hart Street Tavern

Pop in to Hart Street Tavern Wednesday to Friday 5-7pm and 3-4pm on Sunday’s for their Aperitivo Hour with classic cocktails such as their house Negroni, a glass of 175ml house wine or a pint of Rebellion for just £5. They also have reduce priced bar nibbles such as their salt & pepper squid or buttermilk fried chicken.

You can grab 2 for 1 cocktails at The Relais in their Quarterdeck Bar which means bagging two of your favourite cocktails for £12-£15 Monday to Friday 5-7pm. Coppa Club jumped in on this gig last year and it proved super popular. Their Happy Hour has not been available this month but a little birdie tells us at Experience Henley that it’s coming back at the end of May!
