Poetry & Pizza On The Terrace
An evening with author Sarah Bell, illustrator Nicola Sutherland and Pirate Pizza in the stunning riverside setting of The Terrace at The Red Lion Lawn.
Join Sarah Bell & Nicola Sutherland, author and illustrator of the newly published The Green Man and the Raven’s Quest on The Terrace on Tuesday 24th August.
The book is described as ‘Haunting, evocative and beautifully illustrated, this rite of passgae fable unfolds through a series of narrative poetry and verse with a stark warning for the survival of our planet.’
Sarah will be reading excerpts from the book whilst Nicola will be doing some live artistry and illustrations to bring the book alive along with the chance to talk and mingle with them for a very relaxed and informal Q&A.
Pirate Pizza will also be moored up to serve you yummy pizza straight off the barge and his wood fired oven with a choice of pizzas especially created for the evening.
The Green Man (Veg/Vegan) – Tomato, spinach, turnip tops, caramelised onion, courgette. With either mozzarella or a vegan cheese with Rocket/Parmesan to finish

The ticket price also includes a special Raven’s Quest welcome drink and you can select which pizza you would prefer at check out.
There will also be a bar serving beer, wine and Henley Gin from The Henley Distillery to keep things flowing!
