P-p-pick up a picnic
Summer is here and the time is right…to p-p-pick up a picnic. Whether you’re planning something to celebrate Liz’s seventy years on the throne, don’t fancy making your own smoked salmon sarnies for Regatta or that trip on a boat here’s three fabulous places where you can pick up an awesome picnic.
Wonderful picnic boxes filled with sandwiches, salads and lovely local produce are available from The Henley Larder in Bell Street starting at £14.50 with The Thames Larder box along with The Regatta Larder £18pp, The Temple Island £24pp and The Jubilee Larder picnic box. Zoë will also knock up something bespoke for you too.
Pavilion Delicatessen and Cookery School (image above) have recently partnered with Henley Festival as their official ‘picnic partners’ so they must be pretty good, huh! Their picnic hampers, either Classic or Vegan, range from £50-£120 depending on the number of people.
Lastly why not change it up a bit and go Middle Eastern with a Persian Picnic Plater from Persian Delights by Mali with a mouth-watering selection of picnic foods including moutabel, mirza ghasemi, stuffed vine leaves, samosa, feta cheese, walnut, BBQ salad and barbari bread. All home made.
