M&S eyes up Henley as store location

Marks & Spencer has revealed Henley-on-Thames to be among one of its desired locations for new food stores. The leading British retailer, popular in town centres and high streets across the UK, has today launched a new list of potential 500 target locations it is considering for new and renewed Food stores as it aims to double the size of its Food business.
M&S Managing Director of Food, Alex Freudmann said “The strong performance of our new stores gives us the confidence to explore even more locations across the UK…Our team want new sites where we could open a large M&S Food store”
Potentially for Henley, this would signal exciting possibilities with a trusted household name investing in the town’s future, though not sure what Waitrose and Tesco would make of it!
