Mayor turns up the volume with a Norman Jay Club Night

Round Two of The Mayor’s Mission is about to land with a Club Night at Henley Town Hall on Saturday 21st February with the legendary Norman Jay MBE, and it’s shaping up to be one of the town’s most vibrant community parties of the year. Three brilliant local charities Nomad Henley, The Chiltern Centre and Lowland Rescue are at the heart of it, and the line‑up makes supporting them feel like an easy decision.

It’s an all day affair kicking off downstairs from 4pm, where Deano Jones from Gold Dust Radio and John Maslin set the tone with upbeat daytime vibes. It’s the kind of session made for people who love a dance but still want to be home for tea and toast. Tickets are £10, which feels like a steal for four hours of sunshine‑soaked energy.

Upstairs, things shift into full evening mode from 7pm. Norman Jay MBE headlines from around 8-10pm with the unmistakable warmth and groove he’s known for, joined by Arveene Juthan and Alex Darby & Mat Carter from Vaultage Events. It’s soulful, eclectic, and guaranteed to get even the most reluctant dancers moving. Entry for the evening is £25 or you can go all‑in with an all‑day ticket for £30.

A club‑level sound system is being brought in especially, and to help cover the cost, The Mayor of Henley is inviting local businesses and supporters to step in as sponsors.

Sponsor tickets are £125 and include all‑day access, a VIP area, and a buffet lunch at Hart Street Tavern before the event. Sponsors will also be recognised on the Mayor’s Mission website and in press and online coverage. A fantastic way for Henley residents and businesses to show they’re backing the town’s charities in a meaningful way.

Buffet lunch includes a selection of: Pizzas, Dynamite Shrimp, Chicken Wings, Duck Salad, fries, Cauliflower Popcorn, Salt & Pepper Squid and Arancini – perfect way to set yourself up for an evening on the dancefloor.

If you want to start early, FLYTE Bar is running a bottomless brunch before the event for £45, with flexible time slots and Greeklicious will be serving food outside Flyte until 7pm. Inside, the Hart Street Tavern team will be running a full bar stocked with wine, cocktails, cider and proper good beer.

And because no good party ends neatly at midnight, an afterparty will be announced on the day for anyone still standing.
