Lockdown Lodge is back for summer 2025

Every summer since the first lockdown, nestled alongside a beautiful stretch of the River Thames by Hambleden Lock, Lockdown Lodge has been a super popular addition to the Henley summer experience scene. By day it’s a relaxed cafe, bar and casual eatery, by night its terrace transforms into a destination supper club offering a unique sunset dining experience.
This summer, the Lodge will re-open from 18th July to 11th August for another riverside season.
Whether you’re strolling along the Thames Towpath in search of a delicious lunch, enjoying a refreshing drink with friends under the English summer sunshine, or simply keen to discover somewhere new and exciting, this is where to go.
The Lodge opens at 8am for hot & cold non-alcoholic drinks and pastries and the bar opens at 11am. Perfect for that morning walk by the river.
This idyllic pop up is renowned for its Street Food Kitchen which is open from noon until 9pm. No bookings required, you just rock up and enjoy the vibes.
Their upstairs terrace hosts tasting menu experiences on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights which you can also book out for private dining and events.
The Lodge is accessible by boat bike or foot, and is a 10 minute stroll across Hambleden Weir from Mill End Card Park (or the bus stop) or a lovely 45 minute walk along the river from Henley Bridge.
