Lockdown Lodge is back celebrating its 5th birthday

Guess who’s back, back again…there’s nothing shady about these guys! The original Henley pop-up, Lockdown Lodge is BACK, and this year they are celebrating our fifth anniversary!

They are only here for a very short window, 19th July – 11th August 2024, so get the dates in your diary as you don’t want to be the only ones missing out!

Nestled near Hambleden Lock, it is one of the best spots to watch the stunning sunsets over the River Thames with a glass of something in hand and excellent company around you. The setting is the perfect place to relax and unwind and enjoy the British summer time and is now definitely a staple in the Henley summer diary.

Minna Hughes, the energetic brain child of the pop-up said, “Looking back on the inaugural The Lockdown Lodge, spending time with the people you love but hadn’t been able to see for months was so important to us, so this year we are sticking to the popular sharing boards that were introduced last year. What could be better than passing around platters of delicious food and soaking in the sunset with the people you care most about?”.

It’s not just the upstairs menu that’s had a revamp though, the Street Food line up this year will be featuring some lighter, more summery options too, even if the weather is slightly disobliging, the vibe at The Lodge means you can still enjoy summer! And besides we’re pretty stoic here in Henley, if a good time is to be had, it will be had whatever the weather!
