Lit Fest pops up at The Barn at The Bottle & Glass
Jojo Moyes and Polyanna Wilkinson are the first of the Henley Literary Festival pop-ups for 2025 at the festival’s new pop-up venue The Barn at The Bottle & Glass on Sunday 9th February.
One of the festival’s favourite authors joins them for a special event just days ahead of the publication of the much-anticipated We All Live Here.
After previous Festival sell-outs Sunday Times No.1 bestseller Jojo Moyes returns with a warm-hearted, wry and empathetic story about Lila Kennedy and her unruly blended family including her estranged father, two daughters, stepdad and Truant the dog.
Lisa Jewell calls it “wise, funny and glorious”, while Marian Keyes says it’s “the best book she has ever written”; no mean feat from the internationally bestselling author of Me Before You, The Giver of Stars and Someone Else’s Shoes.
One of the most sought-after garden designers in the world today, Pollyanna Wilkinson joins interiors expert Jojo Barr in an appropriately aesthetic setting, in the week that her much-anticipated first book is published.
As well as transforming gardens across the UK and internationally, the Studio Pollyanna founder shares her expertise on social media – where she has over 400,000 Instagram followers – and on the must-listen design podcast The Ins & Outs. Now she has written How to Design a Garden: Create and Maintain Your Dream Garden, a glorious mix of inspiration and practical advice, all presented with her infectious enthusiasm. From early moodboards to timeless plant combinations, the beautifully illustrated book also includes month-by-month growing guides to help you to nurture your dream garden for years to come.
A three-time RHS medalist and People’s Choice winner at both Hampton Court and Chelsea flower shows, Polly will be in conversation with her The Ins & Outs co-host Jojo, House Nine founder and Marlow resident, as she aims to demystify the art of creating and then looking after a beautiful, seasonal garden
