Leander Club Invites all for a Festive Christmas Market
Leander Club is inviting one and all to come and get festive at their first Christmas Market held in the garden at the club.
There will be craft, food & drink and local produce stalls to pick up those all important gifts or to treat yourselves. Hot food will be available to keep you warm plus hot drinks and a special Leander Club Christmas Punch.
There will be covered areas to sit and enjoy a Christmas tipple (table service only) and there will be live bands performing from 7pm each evening except Sunday when there will be an earlier performance.
Also, word has it that the big man himself may be paying a visit on the Sunday!
The Christmas market will be open daily (towpath entrance gate) from Friday 5-9pm, Saturday 12 – 9 pm and Sunday 12-6pm.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along. Entry will be on the door and all necessary social distancing measures will be in place.
So plan to wrap up warm, grab a hot toddy, get spending and join in the fun!
Entry fee is £5 per person and Leander Club is supporting The Chiltern Centre where 50% of all entry fees will go to the charity.
General Manager Al Heathcote says “It’s been a challenging year for so many people. We hope the Christmas market will bring some cheer to the town, as well as provide support for small businesses by offering them a new platform to be able to trade at a low cost to themselves.”
