Henley Living Advent Calendar and where to find it

The Henley Living Advent Calendar returns to roam the streets, doors, windows and courtyards of Henley from 1st December up to Christmas Eve. Twenty four venues, twenty four performances and twenty four charities or good causes.

The acts behind each ‘window’ remain a closely guarded secret until the door opens at 6.15pm each evening. With Henley Town Council now holding the reins they are promising some returning favourites and exciting new comers with much loved local musicians and community groups performing a broad mix of classical music to jazz, spoken word, seasonal songs and where would we be without a little comedy to brighten up the cold nights.

Collections, raffles and donations on the night will go directly to the partner charity for that date. Expect a lot of fun and festive refreshments across the whole twenty four evenings.

The Advent Calendar quite rightly finishes at St. Mary’s Church on 24th December for some proper feel good festive feels with carols and community. If you’re really feeling the feels, you will also have the chance to bid on the Mayor’s famously flashy shirt in a special auction with funds raised going to Cllr Buckley’s nominated charities.

As tradition stands the first Advent Calendar window get’s opened on the steps of Henley Town Hall on Monday 1st December. Here’s a handy list of where you can join in the Christmas community spirit.
