Cosy season starts now and we always look forward to all the autumn menus landing, but we’re here to shout about the Côte new menu which lands on 1st October.

Not only do they have a bunch of scrummy new dishes, but their menu has had a complete revamp and we’re loving the look of it.

It’s shorter and more compact, that’s a full thumbs up, but wait for this, their menu will include ‘free-flow frites’, AND they’ll also have you feeling saucy, as all their sauces will be free-flowing too. This mean you can mix, match, dunk & drizzle to your hearts content with their butters and sauces, Sun-Dried Tomato and Café de Paris Butter, Côte Gravy and Wild Mushroom, Peppercorn & Béarnaise Sauces.Yes please.

Championing a ‘Back to Brasserie’ feel, we’re just loving this new vibe – they have also switched out their Prix Fixe for The Not-So-Set Menu.

What’s rather special as well are their corn-fed chickens from Northern France, a proper gourmet poulet, roasted and basted in the oven with garlic, rosemary, thyme and butter to have whole to share or a half for yourself.

Pasta with a French accent? A winter warmer of Lamb Mafalde Ragu with whipped Chèvre goat’s cheese, Seafood Linguine with mussels, prawns and tomato beurre blanc and a Pistou Gnocchi French beans, cream, pine nuts and cherry toms are all new to the menu.

All hail the return of The Croques at breakfast & brunch, no not the ones for your feet but the delicious mornay cheese laden toasted brioche sandwiches with ham, mushroom or topped with an egg, and they even have a sweet one.

Wait, there’s more, they are also introducing the Grand Chocolate Mousse for two, or for three to four people to share served with salted butter biscuits, hazelnuts, dried berries, extra virgin olive oil and Maldon salt.

We’re loving the French fun, not French formal revamp. There is just so much to shout about this menu and we can’t wait to try it.
