Remenham Village Fayre
Villagers young and old, veg growers, dog owners, bakers and Henley visitors are all warmly invited to Remenham traditional village Fayre on 3rd September at Remenham Village Hall from 2.30pm.
The Fayre is striving to be as inclusive as possible so entry is free and there are some new twists on old favourite competitions and stalls.
New baking categories in the Produce competition will appeal to Bake Off enthusiasts.
The fun Dog Show, which welcomes all family pets, will be informally adjudicated by new judge Carol Crowdy from Woofits Walkies.
Children can ‘Splat the Rat’, Hook a Duck, or dress up for the free fancy dress competition.
Adults can enjoy trying to hit a coconut, ferreting through the ‘pre-loved’ bric and brac for a bargain, winning a bottle in the tombola or taking part in the all-comers/gender neutral Tug of War.
Catering will be provided with a bar, BBQ and WI tea and cakes.
Walkers, cyclists and drivers are all encouraged – ample parking will be available and, for those with no transport, potential visitors can contact remenham-Fayre-Transport@yahoo.com and the organising committee will do its best to arrange lifts.
