Honk! Henley’s Night of Live Comedy & More
A night of live comedy in a relaxed, intimate setting with Fergus Craig (BBC2), Iszi Lawrence (Radio 4) & Richard Stott (Comedy Central).
After full houses for our first four comedy nights last year, Honk! is back in the new setting of the wonderful Palm Court at The Relais Henley, complete with pop-up bar and three top stand-ups!
Fergus Craig is a multi-award-winning actor, writer & comedian. He created the character Martin Fishback, whose titular BBC2 pilot won rave reviews and who will soon be appearing in a run of sell-out live shows in London. Winner of a Writer’s Guild Award for live comedy and a Chortle Award for online videos, Fergus costarred with David Hasselhoff in International Emmy-winning sitcom Hoff The Record, appeared in Extras & Stath Lets Flats, and wrote the bestselling parody crime novel Murder at Crime Manor. He returns to Henley after a Henley Literary Festival event alongside Katy Wix & Tim Key.
Called “hilarious” by Richard Herring and “dead good” by Greg Davies, Iszi Lawrence has performed at venues such as the British Museum and the Gielgud Theatre to festivals Truck and Edinburgh, including a Perrier-winning show at the latter. As well as stand-up, she is an in-demand history presenter, including co-hosting Radio 4’s Making History with Tom Holland, and a much-loved children’s author, with Bloomsbury titles Blackbeard’s Treasure & The Unstoppable Letty Pegg.
Richard Stott, as seen on Comedy Central and ITV2’s Stand Up Sketch Show is making a name for himself thanks to his anarchic storytelling style and razor sharp one liners. Runner-up in Dave’s Jokes of the Fringe 2019 and listed twice in The Times Best Jokes of 2022, catch him now before he’s massive!
7.30pm doors for 8pm show.
