Henley Rotary Charity Music Night – Moscow Drug Club
An evening of jazz, blues and Berlin cabaret featuring Moscow Drug Club.
Doors open at 6:30pm so you can have a drink before going in to the event. Fine wines and bar from Jacobini Wine Gallery.
Bristol-based Moscow Drug Club is an ensemble that plays an eclectic mix of jazz, blues, Berlin cabaret, Latin tinge, and French musette. They combine their original material with songs by the likes of Jacques Brel, Leonard Cohen and Eartha Kitt. As the band likes to suggest, imagine Django Reinhardt and Tom Waits having an after-hours jam in an East European bar.
Proceeds go to:
Camp Mohawk day centre for children with special needs
Helen & Douglas House children’s Hospice
Mercy Ships, bringing free surgical aid to the coast of Africa.
Tickets: £15 plus booking fee.
