Established in 1994, Henley Masters Regatta is held on the Friday and Saturday of the second weekend in July, which is the week following Henley Royal Regatta in Henley-on-Thames. In 2024, a huge 30-year-anniversary party was held at Leander Club to celebrate 30 years gone by and to look forward to the next 30 years of Henley Masters Regatta on the beautiful stretch of river in Henley-on-Thames.

Henley Masters Regatta is pleased to announce that we are becoming a three-day event from 2026, allowing more crews to come and compete on the iconic Henley course. We were not able to secure the full change in time to allow the events in this year’s regatta to be extended to the third day, instead we are happy to let you know that we have been able to add some additional events. In 2025, Henley Masters Regatta will be running a half-day of mixed events on the Sunday morning. This will be a unique opportunity for competitors to participate in a Henley Masters Regatta Mixed Event, which we only expect to run this year.

From 2026, Henley Masters Regatta will run from Friday to Sunday, with events taking place across the three days. Full details here: HMR 2025 Mixed Event

Hosted and run by Upper Thames Rowing Club (UTRC), the regatta has grown into an internationally recognised event for masters crews. Competitors travel from all over the world to compete over 1000 metres on the famous Henley reach.
