Henley Literary Festival is one of the UK’s leading literary festivals returns for the 20th year in person in Henley-on-Thames and online wherever you are from 2nd – 11th October 2026, with Nigella Lawson making her debut opening the festival and the UK’s bestselling author of all time Julia Donaldson on the closing day.

The 2025 Henley Literary Festival reached their biggest ever audience with over 25,200 tickets sold to the public events, and 2,674 school children in person and over 18,000 people watched from around the world online including schools and card homes.
